"Making hay while the sun shines" is as true now as it was in the days of the pitch fork, but it's a lot more fun today... and with a Buhler/inland rake you get it done before the sun sets.

  • The RT 9 is fitted with three tires to ensure stability, even on slopes during raking, transportation and parking.
    Tire size is 205/70/15.
  • The two castoring wheels are equipped with a clutch pressure plate to eliminate wheel wobble during transport. Adequate pressure is easily achieved by adjusting spring tension between two friction pads.
  • Raking wheels are individually suspended and spring supported for just the right downward pressure for gentle, yet thorough raking action. They are hydraulically raised and lowered as a gang from tractor controls.
  • Change from 8' transport width to variable working widths (up to 17') in minutes.
    Angle of working and transport positions can be controlled by rope pull.
  • Rake wheels are 1.4 metres in diameter, each with 40 teeth. Each tooth is 7 mm diameter, and the center flange is 4 mm thick.
  • An optional hydraulic rear steering kit is available for easier maneuvering while raking and parking.
"V" Rakes
  • Buhler/inland "V" Rakes are available in four models - 10, 12, 14, and 16 wheel.
  • Independent, articulated wing frames and independent wheels ensure thorough and clean raking over all ground contours.
  • The scissor action drawbar is hydraulically adjusted to open or close the operating width of the wings.
  • A ratchet jack, located over the rear discharge easily adjusts the width of the opening to accommodate lighter or heavier crops.
  • Front castoring wheels ensure maximum maneuverability without compromising lateral stability.
  • A third pair of ground wheels are optional on the 10 and 12 wheel models, standard on the 14 and 16 wheel models for improved stability.
  • All "V" Rake models are 8'2" in transport width.
